Day 39 | Being the Light of God

Friday, March 11, 2022

Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon His God. Isaiah 50:10

What evidence are you giving to the world of your love for each other? Has the Lord made a mistake? Are you His chosen vessels? Are you walking in the light as His dear children? Why do you do that which shows to the world that you have lost the love of God out of the heart, and that in consequence you have no love for your brethren? Why do you bear such fruit? Why will you make Christ ashamed to call you brethren. Why are you at variance and strife? Have you not enough to make you feel humble before God? Have you not walked long enough in your own wisdom? The Lord says to you, “Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God. Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have at mine hand: ye shall lie down in sorrow.” [Isaiah 50:10, 11.] {Ms75-1898.29}

God is true to His covenant with His people. His Word is infallible. His people bring suffering upon themselves by forsaking His counsel for their own human wisdom. It is impossible for their prayers to reach the throne of God, because the rebellion of disobedience is the substance of their petitions. Christ came from heaven to teach the Word which His Father committed to Him for the fallen members of His family. Those who hear and obey, walk in safe paths under the protection of the Lord of heaven. Through the power of Christ they are victorious over every foe. Those who do faithful, unselfish service for God will be blessed in their unity as they work in obedience to every word of Jehovah. {Lt102-1901.26}

  4. Pray for the Psychologists and Counselors Summit that will take place in July that the training and tools provided will be very effective
