Day 83 | Deliverance in Jesus

Sunday, April 24, 2022

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me.”

-Ps. 50:15

“Jacob prevailed because he was persevering and determined. His experience testifies to the power of importunate prayer. It is now that we are to learn this lesson of prevailing prayer, of unyielding faith. The greatest victories to the church of Christ or to the individual Christian are not those that are gained by talent or education, by wealth or the favor of men. They are those victories that are gained in the audience chamber with God, when earnest, agonizing faith lays hold upon the mighty arm of power.” Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 203

Heart Question:  Are you like Jacob determining and preserving to call upon the Lord when in trouble? Do you have rigid faith to gain the victory in Christ?

  1. Pray that we will continue to look to God in faith, trusting Him with the uncertainties of our future, knowing that He is in control.
  2. Pray that we would trust God’s Word even when circumstances all around us seem dark and discouraging.
  3. Pray that church members in Suriname would understand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a prophetic movement with a prophetic message entrusted by heaven with a very special prophetic mission, and now is the time to shine for God’s glory.
  4. Pray for you immediate and extended family members.  Pray for those who do not know Jesus as their personal Savior yet to be drawn to Him and be converted.
