Day 88 | God is for Us

Friday, April 29, 2022

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

-Romans 8:31

Take the word of Jesus as surer and more valuable than any word that can come from the human agent. Thank God with your whole heart and soul and voice that you are barricaded with the rich promises of His infallible word, so that the wicked one shall not touch you. God will give you the Holy Spirit, even though it may seem to you that it is too good to be true. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” {BEcho July 2, 1894, par. 9}

Satan will accuse and seek permission to destroy, but it is God that opens the door of refuge. It is God that justifieth him that entereth that door. Then if God be for us, who can be against us? Oh, the bright glorious truth. Why do not men discern it? Why not walk in its bright beams? Why do not all who believe talk of Christ’s matchless love? … {OFC 316.5}

  1. Pray that you will take the word of Jesus as a surety, that He is with you.  Thank God with your whole heart, soul, and voice that His rich promises are infallible and that Satan is blocked by God from touching you.
  2. Pray that church members in Jamaica would understand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a prophetic movement with a prophetic message entrusted by heaven with a very special prophetic mission, and now is the time to shine for God’s glory.
  3. Pray for wisdom for our pastors, administrators, church leaders, and departmental directors that they will seek comfort know that God is with Him and they are to put their trust and believe in Him.
  4. Pray that God’s love would so fill us, so move us, so break our hearts afresh, that we could not contain it, but share it with those who have not hope.
