Day 92 | God’s Wonderful works

Oh that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul.  And fills the hungry soul with goodness. 

-Psalm 107:8-9

Oh, that men would serve the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men. The great God who is the Creator and Redeemer is full of lovingkindness and tender mercies and can be trusted to help His children in all circumstances of their lives. At times, because of the sins of His people, He has to execute His justice, but His mercy endureth forever. We should never fail to give thanks to the King of Kings for His wonderful works.

Consider his creative acts; the sunrise and the sunset, the majestic mountains, the cascading waterfalls, the birds as they sing songs of praise and adoration. The birth of a child and a sinner saved by grace excels them all. Consider also, the air that we breathe, His healing power, His forgiveness, Jesus dying for us,  Because of His love for us He satisfies our yearning souls with His grace and mercy.  Because of His wonderful works He fills us with His goodness so that we are not in need anymore.

Sing praise to God who reigns above,

The God of all creation,

The God of power, the God of love, the God of our salvation,

With healing balm, my soul He fills, and every faithless murmur still,

Heart Questions: Do you serve God with a heart of thanksgiving for His goodness and His wonderful works?  Are you appreciative of God, your Creator and Redeemer who is full of lovingkindness and tender mercies and can be trusted to help you in all circumstances of your life? Are you constantly give thanks to the King of Kings for His wonderful works? Are you thankful for His wonderful creative acts; the sunrise and the sunset, the majestic mountains, the cascading waterfalls, the birds as they sing songs of praise and adoration? Please pray this prayer: Dear Holy Father we pause to breathe a prayer of gratitude to you for our salvation and redemption. For you wonderful creation and being a loving Redeemer. Thank you for your unfathomable works. You demonstrated your great works when you delivered the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage and when you led them through the Red Sea and wilderness. I join with the Psalmist and lift my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help because my help come only from You by wonderfully Creator and redeemer

1. Pray that you will have a heart of thanksgiving for God’s goodness and His wonderful works.
2. Pray that each church member will appreciate God as their creator and Redeemer and that they accept God’s lovingkindness and tender mercies and will allow God to help them in all circumstances of life.
3. Thank God for His wonderful creative works
4. Pray that church members in Honduras would understand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a prophetic movement with a prophetic message entrusted by heaven with a very special prophetic mission, and now is the time to shine for God’s glory.
