“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
Jeremiah 33:3
“We have come to serious times. Events in our world call upon every follower of Christ to be totally in earnest in our relationship with God. To strengthen this relationship and satisfy our emotional and spiritual needs, we must learn the power of prayer. We must plead with the Lord, like the disciples of old, saying, ‘Lord, teach us to pray.’ ” Prayer, p. Calling upon God will give us strength to go through the day. He will show us great and might things because He is at our right hand, guiding and directing us. When we have steadfast trust in God great things are in store for us.
Heart Questions: Do you want the Lord to show you great and mighty things that we do not know, then establish and prayerful relationship with Him? Are you calling upon God to satisfy your emotional and spiritual needs? Are you like the disciples are that the Lord would teach us on to pray?
- Pray that we as a church would ask God to send the Holy Spirit and teach us how to pray in a way that we will receive answers.
- Pray that we will have humble of heart as we learn the power of prayer
- Pray for the farmers who are struggling to plant or harvest crops successfully
- Pray for the Health Expos that will be presented during the Centennial Celebration
- Pray for the Evangelistic Campaign’s in Virgin Islands
