Day 37 | From Impossibility to Possibility

Wednesday, March 9, 2022

“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible.’” -Mark 10:27

“Natural impossibilities cannot prevent the working of the Omnipotent One.” Desire of Ages, p. 535

“We have a God whose ear is not closed to our petitions; and if we prove His word, he will honor our faith. He wants us to have all our interests interwoven with his interests, and then he can safely bless us; for we shall not then take glory to self when the blessing is ours, but shall render all the praise to God.” Review and Herald, June 9, 1891

Heart Questions: Often times our faith in God is small because we don’t really recognize the magnitude of our God. We think our problems are so big that He cannot solve them. We forget that we serve the God who stretched out the heavens by His great power and there’s nothing too hard for Him. Today, take some time to reflect on the greatness of God. Write down characteristics and attributes that God alone holds. As you do this simple activity, ask God to increase your understanding and comprehension of who He really is.

  1. Pray that we will increase our faith in God knowing that with us it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Pray for God to increase your understanding and comprehension of who He is.
  2. Pray for the church members living in Guatemala. Pray that there would be church growth, increased commitment to God and service, as well as punctuality and consistency in attendance
  3. Pray for spiritual strengthening in our educational institutions.
  4. Pray for a continued emphasis on new forms of evangelism that reach out to people through the internet and other ways, complying with “social distancing” but maintaining our strong emphasis on Christ, His Word, His righteousness, His sanctuary service, and His saving power in the great controversy.
