Day 64 | God’s Promise of Forgiveness

Tuesday, April 5, 2022

“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
– Romans 5:8

“As soon as there was sin, there was a Savior. Christ knew that He would have to suffer, yet He became man’s substitute. As soon as Adam sinned, the Son of God presented Himself as surety for the human race.” – In Heavenly Places, 13.2

“The Son of God … has fulfilled His pledge, and has passed into the heavens, to take upon Himthe government of the heavenly host. He fulfilled one phase of His priesthood by dying on the cross for the fallen race. He is now fulfilling another phase by pleading before the Father the case of the repenting, believing sinner, presenting to God the offerings of His people. Having taken human nature, and in this nature having overcome the temptations of the enemy, and having divine perfection, to Him has been committed the judgment of the world. The case of each one will be brought in review before Him. He will pronounce judgment, rendering to every man according to his works. – Manuscript 42, 1901

HEART QUESTION:

When Adam and Eve sinned it was God who, despite having been rejected and sinned against, took the first step towards humanity. He came with an attitude of grace, forgiveness and with the promise, that Jesus will crush the serpent Satan (Genesis 3:15) and become the Sacrifice for their salvation. Christ is still walking towards you with that same attitude. He is committed to you and your salvation. Will you run into His loving arms today and accept His cleansing blood and His righteousness?

  1. Pray for God to open your eyes to His endlesslove and forgiveness for youAsk Him to show you more of His loving character each day and how to accept His forgiveness.
  2. Pray that church members in Republic of Dominica would understand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a prophetic movement with a prophetic message entrusted by heaven with a very special prophetic mission, and now is the time to shine for God’s glory.
  3. Pray for the elderly and for children – the most vulnerable among us.
  4. Pray for the church members who are facing financial difficulties.
